A Arizona Sting come the member of the National Lacrosse League, a agency sports league around North America, since the 2000-2001 season. It played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio from 2000 to 2003 as a Columbus Landsharks. In August 28, 2003 it was announced the team was relocating to Glendale, Arizona. A team adopted a title Sting inside November 2003 & began play in the Glendale Arena. Inside 2005 the Sting made it to the league championship game, which they misplaced 19-13 to the Toronto Rock.
